It took me practically all night to repair the website. On Friday, I had made a few adjustments and some notes to take care of sections where I thought it could be improved. I also wanted to customize it a little, by creating my own color scheme and fixing up where some of the pictures went wrong.
The software application that helps me through this had suddenly developed a quirk. Using this moment to update my software as well as my site, I updated the application to the latest version, and then found that some quirk on my old pages was still not allowing me to do what I wanted to do. So I rebuilt the pages. From scratch.
Copying my original material over, page by page, was a big task. Thankfully, that portion went smoothly, even though it was tedious and long. However a new problem developed: I couldn't get my original URL to show my updated pages.
SO, if you've managed to make it here, congratulations. I'm still trying to figure out how to give Ramblings it's own page. In the meantime, it's connected to my main page and via a portal at dotmac.
