Hi Everyone,
I've been back from Florida for a week or so, now - though it oddly seems longer ago than that. It seems as if it was one of my briefest trip there in a while, but last December's trip was briefer.
I've been pretty busy catching up with things since I've been back, so I thank those of you who have come here frequently for trying to keep up, and I'm sorry I haven't really added much new in a while. I should be making up for that soon. I thought in the meantime I'd share a few of the thoughts and posts I made during and immediately after the trip.Thanks to Hurricane Wilma, this was a birthday week I'll never forget!
Thankfully, my family was spared the brunt of this one. We mostly got lots of rain, and then lots of cold. And a few jittery moments for me. I also had a lot of grand moments on this family oriented trip. It was great to spend time with my relatives and not have to run back out to a Disney park to make use of my annual pass or room charge. Thanks to Lillie and Armando for making it a great week. To their great kids and grandson for keeping me company, and to Maria, Jorge, and their kids for helping to make this a warm memory.
Also to my dad for accompanying me on the journey. We need to get out more often! |
