Fill in the Words

Hi People.
I am still here. I apologize for the lack of interesting content for the past several weeks, but I'm hitting one of those times where a lot of things are going on, and it's easier to live through them than to report on them. I hope to get into a more regular habit soon.
I had a few minutes of insomnia tonight, so I thought it would be a good chance to catch up a bit.

How's everyone out there doing?

Ms. J & I are getting ready for our next excursion, as the two of us head out East for the first time ever in our collective lives. Funny how we are both big fans of English music and literature and theatrics and yet we are both only now making our first trip to the land from whence all of that good stuff sprang forth. Obviously, I'll report more on that upon return. We're both pretty excited about this trip, yet as I usually feel, I'll be more excited once we are actually there, having accomplised a lot of what we want to do, and free and safely returned. Kind of a weird way of saying I'm excited about a trip.

"Are you excited about going abroad?"

"Oh, yeah, I'll be very excited once we get back."

Anyway, I'll give you the complete scoop-- and this time I hope to have pictures and things to share with you. I have a few ideas in mind on how to make the trip report interesting, so check back in a couple of weeks and see if I accomplished that goal!

These past couple of weeks leading up to the trip have been a little tumultous. Ms.J. had a close family member get sick and sent into hospital care after an operation. Fortunately, they have recovered and are coming along well from what I understand.

Our own Rich, who's accompanied me on several journeys, went for a specialized surgery just yesterday, and I'm happy to report he seems to be doing fine. We watched the DVD that came with Paul McCartney's latest CD today (more on that some other time). Get well soon, Rich.

Deep Prayers to the Perez (my niece Maria's) family, who have being going through some troubling times recently. A family illness has caused a rather traumatic weekend. Hang in there, JP. We're all praying for you and know you'll get through this.

I got mildly sick myself last week -- spent Labor Day and the two following it in bed with a virus. Bad timing, and annoying to be lying there while the weather looks great out the window.

Speaking of weather, it's been gorgeous in NY as of late. Today would have been a great, great beach day, but it's just not to be. I never did get to go back this summer like I planned.

Anyway - staying up way past my bedtime to write all these nowhere words for nobody. Will hopefully report once more before we leave and then I'll tell you all about it when I get back.

Ciao for now.
