Here's a little bit on everything. My writing might be brief tonight but I just had a few random thoughts I wanted to capture and thought I'd put them up and possibly explore them later.
First off, my heart goes out to the families of the innocents who perished or were injured in today's horrific attack on the London transportation system. It's very sad that such evil can still exist within the hearts of men, and that with all of the technological advances Man has made over the course of the past two thousand years, he still can see fit not to destroy others. "Sad" does not even begin to describe what this has all become. All of this technology, and we can't save Man from himself.
Fortunately, some good friends who we have made plans to visit with in London were able to make it to their destinations safely, though the news this morning gave me a start, and have thrown a pale over our excited plans to visit. We are still resolved to go, but now have to do so with extra things to think about. Really distressing. But moreover, here is to a speedy recovery to the country and to the spirits of the people there. |
