And just when you thought things might be getting better....

Mobile phone company Three: They can connect you to India, but can they connect your handset?

It seems bad customer service and unhelpful employees are still rife... After my moans about World Cricket Store and Unicom I have been contacted by someone who is just so sick of the mobile phone company three that she doesn't know where to turn. Here is my reader's email if you are interested:

Are you able to tell me how i can let everyone know how bad 3mobile phone company is. I've had trouble from day one with either my handset or customer services in India.

The problems started with my handset which kept crashing all the time, I got so fed up I offered to either pay for an upgrade or downgrade but each time the reply was NO!

I was unable to get out of my contact without paying a penalty running into hundreds of pounds. In order to cancel my contract after the agreed period i was put on hold for 11 minutes(!) then found out on return from holiday they hadn't cancelled my contract and i had to pay for line renta I hadn't used!!l

I then attempted to contact India again then had to wait 49mins to speak to an advisor.

Well, what can i say? I hope my reader has sorted this mess out now, but my advice is make sure your handset has a "returns" period where you can exchange a handset you are unhappy with it. Its no good being locked into a 12 month phone use contract when you can't use the phone!! If you know of company who offers this type of guarantee, contact me !
