Who is Tomohiro?

Tomohiro Ichinose is a Japanese scientific researcher. He took the degree of Master from graduate school of the University of Tokyo. From October 1996 to September 1998 he studied as visiting researcher at Munich Technical University. He got the degree of PhD from graduate school of the University of Tokyo. The doctoral dissertation title is "Methods of Environmental Evaluation for Avian Conservation". At that time, he studied about the relationship between bird distribution and environmental factors (ex. land use types, vegetation structure, forest fragmentation and so on). Now he is an associate professor at the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, Keio University. Recently, he researches ecological network planning methods in Japanese metoroporitan Cities, landscape changes in suburban and rural areas in Japan, biodiversity conservation in rural areas in Japan and the relationship between bird distribution and planting methods in rice paddies in Bali Island, Indonesia.
