Open from corner with flat screwdriver The battery is glued to foam padding Hard drive sits under the battery The FireWire connector Side view With hard drive gone, you can see the IC The FireWire connector sits at the top Unscrew four fasteners with Allan wrench Another one hides down here And here, under a foam pad The naked iPod That FireWire connector again... The LCD folds away, revealing... Nine broken solder connections! Sorry for the blurriness...
