My first attempt at writing a Renderman shader. The shader is basically an elaborate mosaic/grid texture. In the image above, it has been used on a displacement channel. Here's the MTOR Slim interface to it :
It has built-in filtering, color remapping, voronoi jittering, grid linewidth based on texture luminance etc... Drop me an email if you want to test this out.
