The Catcher in the Rye
Why is this a conspiracy theory
book?
(Find
it Here)This week I
read "The Catcher in the Rye", which is supposed to be a conspiracy theory book,
or maybe it was just earmarked in, Conspiracy Theory for some unobvious reason.
Seriously, the whole way through the book I kept trying to read it as a
conspiracy theory of some kind. Looking behind every sentence for Big Brother, I
just don't see it here folks!
The book is odd enough
without adding in some overarching-Luminati-Revealing plot! This kid gets kicked
out of a prep school, is obviously both intelligent and grieving from his
brother's death, and spends most of his time in critique of society. He isn't
getting chased by the CIA or NSA or anything at all. And he notices everything,
like his feelings, and his concerns.
Overall I like it, but need
somebody like John Alexander or Darren Prince to make any sense out of
it.
