What's a Podcast?
A Podcast is simply an automated way to download audio content that's of recurring interest to you.
Check out http://www.apple.com/podcasting/ and http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/ for more basic info on Podcasting and how to subscribe.

What do I need to take advantage of this technology?
1) a computer
2) an internet connection
3) iTunes - iTunes is a free software application that acts as storage for any digital audio files that are on your computer (mp3, mp4, wav, aiff, and more) - you can download iTunes at www.itunes.com - the software is available for Windows 2000 or XP and Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later.

What are the names of the HBC Podcasts?

Sunday - Highland Baptist Church, Waco - Sunday Morning

in the iTunes Music Store, browse to Podcasts--->Religion and Spirituality--->Christianity and scroll down to find the podcasts (or use the search function and search for Highland)

Sunday - feed://homepage.mac.com/timcates/HBC%20Sermons/page2/files/page2.xml

Do I have to have an iPod?
No. If you have an mp3 player (any brand will do), you can take the sermons with you, but you can still listen to sermons and burn them to CD if you don't have a mp3 player.

Do I have to use iTunes?
No. There are several other Podcast aggregator programs available online; however, iTunes is the only supported Podcast aggregator and is preferred for ease of use and cross-platorm availability.

I can't find the Sunday morning Podcast in the iTunes directory. we are waiting on Apple to post the link (they have no timetable for posting links). In the interim, you can go to the "Advanced" menu in iTunes, choose "Subscribe to Podcast", and enter this URL to subscribe.
