"Brooklyn Bound" - Feature Best Light Dailies & Finish MEAN
PICTURES
A semi-biographical story set in a tough
neighborhood in Brooklyn where Sean deals in the high income drug trade to
support his family, as well as that of his mother & younger brother. In a
variety of edgy scenarios, the gritty realities of this bad choice become more
& more apparent in both his life as well as that of a friend, and eventually
in that of his younger brother, Keith, as he is drawn toward the only way that
he can see to move up in his world. Ultimately in a freak, yet coincidental
circumstance Keith is killed during a sting operation aimed at Sean. The story
ends as Sean is driven away in a squad car, passing by the gruesome site of his
dead younger brother, fully realizing the cyclic nature of his choices; he is
Brooklyn Bound.
