Little 1980's treat....
So if my
internet husband, AJ, can do it,
Tigger will too.
Found this little 80's Break Dancing gem and it made me think
of PizzaBabe.
I can imagine you back then, Pizza. Spinning Breakin and Poppin.
Strutting her stuff with big 80's hair and lots of attitude.
So this is my video dedication for PizzaBabe.
Love ya baby.

"I
Am Not Gay!"
Rep. Mark
Foley......
Rev. Ted Haggard......
And now...the next Republican congressman slimes himself out of the
pink closet....Idaho State Senator Larry Craig
Blaming the latest gay
allegation on a "witch hunt" instigated by the Idaho Statesman
newspaper. The event (arrest) took place last June in
Minnesota.
Idaho State Sen. Larry Craig was arrested after propositioning an
off duty policeman in a bathroom stall next to Craig's located in a
Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport. Sen. Craig was arrested
by the policeman for "lewd conduct". Craig stated that he made a
inappropriate decision by pleading guilty claiming the Idaho
Statesman "witch hunt" left him dazed and confused and that is why
he did what he did. "I' am not gay!" Craig exclaimed.
"Craig's blue eyes were clearly visible through the
crack in the door, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport
police Sgt. Dave Karsnia wrote in the report he filed.
"Craig would look down at his hands, 'fidget' with his fingers, and
then look through the crack into my stall again," Karsnia wrote in
documents accompanying the arrest report.
Craig said the officer misinterpreted his actions."
Well...lets see....you like to have sex (or whatever you do) with
men. You are staring at a man through a crack in door of a bathroom
stall (conveniently located in the Mens room). Sounds gay to me. I
think that might be one of the major qualifiers in being a gay
man.
"The officer wrote he was on a plainclothes detail in
the restroom because of citizen complaints and arrests for sexual
activity there.
Karsnia wrote that when the person occupying the stall beside him
left, Craig entered it and blocked the door with his rolling
suitcase.
"My experience has shown that individuals engaging in lewd conduct
use their bags to block the view from the front of their stall,"
the officer said in his report."
But I forget...you are a closeted gay man. And you are the worse
kind.
Sen. Craig made sure that he saddled up with Christian
conservatives expectations. Sen. Craig did not support adding gay
bashing in the Federal Hate Crimes Bill and strongly supported anti
gay marriage groups and organizations. He portrays himself as a God
loving Christian to his family and constituents. Getting elected on
the "Family Values Ticket", Craig promised to fight or abolish any
legislation aimed at helping the gay, transgendered and bisexual
communities.
So now.....Sen. Craig tried to get blown in a Minneapolis airport
john by a MAN. Yes I said it. a M-A-N.
In the next couple days, I am sure Sen. Craig will claim insanity.
"I was crazy when I did this" "I wasn't myself"...all the excuses.
Heard them all before. They are not excuses.....cop-outs and
lies.
Go back in the closet Sen. Craig. Live your "white picket fence"
lifestyle that you built on lies and mistrust.
Doesn't sound like family values to me.

Just a quick
update....the ocular fluid specimen that I spoke of in
TiggerCast
062 turned out
acceptable for laboratory testing. The positive result of
CMV was what the
ophthalmologist was expecting. The patient will NOT
have
to give another ocular fluid specimen and is currently receiving
treatment for their condition.
Just thought I would let you guys know.

Tammy Faye is home
God love you Tammy Faye because you were a shining example of what
it is to be a true Christian. Loving unconditionally.
You were not perfect. Your life was lived from one extreme to
another. And yet, despite how many good and bad things that
happened in your life...you stood firm in your faith of God and
Love. A very inspirational life indeed.
Were gonna miss you Tammy Faye.
Excellent
Democracy Now segment that aired this
Friday.
Take the time to watch this. Excellent interviews with gay rights
activists Max
Blumental and Jim Burroway as they discuss Bush's
Surgeon
General nominee, James Holsinger
MD, views
of homosexuality and his assertion that sexual orientation is a
choice and gays (especially, gay men) are unnatural and dangerous.
Dangerous?
Let me know your thoughts on this.
In case you
missed the CNN Democratic Debate last Sunday, I have posted a small
segment of the debate that dealt with gay issues.
Gays in the military and gay civil unions seemed to be the focus of
moderator, Wolf Blitzer.
A hand vote of all ten candidates over whether they agree that gays
and lesbians should serve openly in the United States armed forces
with no fear of being discharged. The unanimous ten yes votes from
the candidates was a bit of a surprise. And Hillary...you go
girl.
Other related topics included hate crime legislation and
legalization of marriage for gays and lesbians.
The video is about 7 minutes long, so I recommend that you download
the file instead of waiting for it to load.

Democracy Now was a very
interesting interview with author/filmmaker Norman Solomon.
The interview about a new film that has been released by Norman
Solomon and Media Education Foundation titled
War Made Easy - How Presidents and Pundits Keep Spinning Us To
Death. Solomon has
also written a book with the same title.
The film focuses on the past and current relationship the "liberal"
media has with Washington and politics in general. In addition,
Solomon focuses on past presidential administrations political
attempts to sell war(s) to the American public.

So, I am coming home from work on
the train and I'm watching some videos on my iPod. I happened to
catch a 20/20 report on models that are dangerously underweight and
an industry that seems indifferent to the problem. Some girls were
eating only lettuce leaves.
The report consisted of a montage of interviews with various up
& up's in the Milan fashion industry. What became grossly
apparent to me is the general lack of concern the fashion industry
has towards grossly underweight models. Models health is not the
concern of the fashion industry. This seems to be the status quo.
Sadly, it is the fashion industry that perpetuates the problem of
grossly underweight models. From designers to fashion experts, all
had the same basic attitude... Keep her until we don't need here
anymore.
Much akin to a prostitute and her pimp.
When you think about it....that really is what it is. Fashion
industry is there to make money. Models are just the tools to get
all that money.
Let me know your thoughts on this.
Watch the video and tell me if what I say is true, or am I just
spewing out a lot of BS.
Staff Sgt. Eric Alva, the first
U.S. marine to be injured in the Iraq War, is marching to
Washington D.C. trying to persuade Congress to eliminate the
Don't Ask - Don't Tell policy regarding gays in the U.S. military
service.
This guy has a lot of courage. I wish him the best in his campaign
to allow gays and lesbians to serve in the U.S. military
forces.

I wouldn't want to disappoint you, Tim (so I'm
spreading the news)
"You know, I
hate gay people, so I let it be known. I don't like gay people and
I don't like to be around gay people," Tim Hardaway said. "I'm
homophobic. I don't like it. It
shouldn't be in the world or in the
United States."
Hardaway also said
if he did find out that a teammate was gay, he would ask for the
player to be removed from the team.
"Something
has to give," Hardaway said. "If you have 12 other ballplayers in
your locker room that's upset and can't concentrate and
always
worried about him in the locker room or on the court or
whatever, it's going
to be hard for your teammates to win and accept him as a
teammate."
****************************************
Later that night,
Hardaway apologized during a telephone interview with WSVN-TV in
Miami.
"Yes, I
regret it. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said I hate gay people or
anything like that," he said. "That was my
mistake."
******************************************
I am not
surprised. Hateful speech from a homophobic bigot employed and
cultivated by the American sports industry.
And Tim....I don't need your vacant, meaningless, insincere,
rehearsed (to save your fucking job) UNTRUE forced apology!
As far as I'm concerned....you can take that apology and shove it
up your ass.....but, oh...I forgot...you might have to go into a
locker room and maybe you might see a gay man in there. Watch
out...because all gay men have an uncontrolled, animalistic sexual
urge to fuck every straight man we see. Tim, I would of respected
you more if you hadn't apologized. At least you would have been
honest.
But what can expect from a bigot?
Here are some responses from the GBLT community:
"Hardaway's
comments are vile, repulsive, and indicative of the climate of
ignorance, hostility and prejudice that continues to pervade sports
culture," said Neil Giuliano, president of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance
Against Defamation. "And by
apologizing not for his bigotry, but rather for giving voice to it,
he's reminding us that this ugly display is only the tip of a very
large iceberg."
Read the GLAAD Press Release
Said
Matt Foreman, president of the National Gay &
Lesbian Task Force: "Hardaway is a
hero to thousands of young people. And that's what makes his
comments so troubling. Sadly, his words simply put the pervasive
homophobia in the NBA on the table."
“There’s a reason why not a single active NBA player
has ever come out in the history of the league, and this is
it.”

I spoke about this in
TiggerCast 019, the White House has been accused of censoring
scientific data regarding global warming and climate change.
This is a segment from Democracy Now (1/31/07) covering the House Climate Change

When I heard this today, I was left in a state of disbelief. The
level of censorship that the current Administration has done to
suppress public knowledge of any factual information concerning
global warming and climate change is shocking.

I
happened to watch A & E
Intervention this weekend. Yes, I do
watch Intervention. I think it's really a good show because it
presents addiction and what it's all about. Up close, and real.
Yes, I do realize that the addicts are probably playing up for the
camera, but, in the end, I think the viewer really gets to see what
hell it can be at times living with the disease of
addiction. I think this is
important for everyone to see. Addiction is a disease.
I am a recovering crystal meth addict. I have been
clean for 10 years now. I have experienced the life of Cristy
firsthand.
Crystal
meth use forever changed the
course of my life. Some for the good. Some for the bad.
Let me know what you thought about the segment from
the A & E documentary, Intervention.
Well, you knew the ole Tigger was
going to have say something about this...
I saw the video, and it does appear that Tigger strikes the young
man lightly
on the head, but is also looks as if
Tigger lost his balance. Also, take in mind, that this person is in
a large costume with limited vision due to the oversized
head.
To me, this whole thing has a great big "cha-ching" sound to it.
Walt Disney = $$$. This is just going to end up as another
frivolous law suit to clog up an already very strained court
system.
It is hard to imagine that this incident "ruined his entire
vacation"?
Smells of good old American greed to me.
What do you think?
Yes, I know that
Christmas is over, but I was going through my video podcasts in
iTunes and came upon this story. As much as I am embarrassed to
post this, I find it so unbelievable, that I must share it with
others.
You all know that I am from Southern California. I was born here, a
true native (which is very rare in Los Angeles). I would never want
to say any disparaging word about my fellow residents, but this
story truly illustrates the stupidity of some people who live
here.
And it all has to do, with snow. Or in this story, shaved ice meant
to look like snow.
You live in Los Angeles, expect no snow at Christmas. It will never
snow here. LA lies in a really big desert. However, there are some
people in LA that want to have a "white Christmas" and now found a
way to achieve that.
Snow to Go. Yes, for the incredibly low price of $175.00, you can
have two guys come over to your house and spray your entire lawn
with shaved ice. Yes, shaved ice. Your lawn will be like one giant
snow cone. And some So Cal'ers think that that is just great. Worth
every penny. Even though, when you stop and think about it...that
snow is probably going to kill your lawn from freezing it and
surely will completely melt in 2 hrs, leaving behind a muddy
mess.
Sounds like money well spent.
I give all my readers (that live in snow conditions) permission to
laugh at the utter ridiculousness of this. Only in Los Angeles,
would people pay $175.00 to have shaved ice put on there lawn.
Please laugh at us all you want. We deserved to be laughed
at.
Oh....I almost forgot....you can buy a "Snowman Kit", complete with
hat, scarf, eyes, nose, and mouth to make yourself a "LA snowman"
with a 30 minute half life. Bu...you better get that snowman kit.
Just another way someone is making a buck off the stupid.
So Zilla, AJ, Christiaan, Bean, PizzaBabe, Bob...can I sell you
some snow for your lawns this Winter?
Maybe, I can charge you $175.00 to come over and melt the snow off
your lawns. Maybe...put a layer of sod down for an extra fee. Then
you will have Summer in Winter. Won't you be so happy?

Escherichia coli
O157:H7
Poor ZillaFag....he contracted food poisoning
sometime after Christmas Eve. I thought I would play Mr. Science
and let everyone know about ZillaFag's unwelcome visitor.
Wikipedia says it best:
"Escherichia
coli O157:H7 is an enterohemorrhagic strain of the bacterium
Escherichia coli and an emerging cause of foodborne illness.[1] An
estimated 73,000 cases of infection and 61 deaths occur each year
in the United States alone, although it is more common in less
industrialized countries. Infection often leads to bloody diarrhea,
and occasionally to kidney failure. Most illness has been
associated with eating undercooked, contaminated ground beef,
although it is also transmitted by person-to-person contact,
produce, drinking unpasteurized milk or swimming in or drinking
contaminated water."
Well....Zilla...you escaped
contaminated spinach this year, but looks like your Christmas
"Roast Beast" kicked the shit right out of you.
Hope you feel better.

Well, it's official, Tigger now has a
new domain name for his blog!

The segment covers this weeks National Congressional Hearings
reporting on the mass media's failure to cover the Iraqi civilian
casualties numbers truthfully, or just not at all.
The segment also covers the more realistic and truthful projections
of the current Iraqi civilian casualty rate, that has been very
much downplayed, and sometimes even misleading, by American mass
media press during the course of the Iraq War.
What you about to view is going to shock you.
Or at least, it will get your attention.

This made
me sick to watch. For the most prosperous nation in the World,
there still is 12%, or 35,000,000 Americans that have no sufficient

Think about all the money that has been wasted on the war in Iraq,
that could have been used to feed starving people here in the
USA.
Such a waste and American tragedy.

New Rule - There Is NO Devil, So Stop Blaming Your Screw Ups On

It's like
Bill Maher
has been reading my blog
lately. Talk about simpatico!
Everything from the election, gay bashing, the religious RIGHT,
crystal meth, and gay hookers are covered in this very funny Bill
Maher monolog.
This clip is hilarious! ...... AJ!, Bill can't
say the word "E-V-A-N-G-E-L-I-C-A-L" either, just like you! At
least you're in some good company.
Maher was on his game for this one. I hope you enjoy

Well...
don't expect a perfect lawn if you live in The City of Houston.....
if you're gay.
Apparently, there has been a very big discussion during the last
two weeks on the Web involving a small landscaping business in
Houston, TX and the gay community.
The story starts with two gay men living in Houston who decided
they wanted to landscape their lawn, They called several
landscaping companies for bids. It turns out that they got a
response for a bid back from a very well known and highly
recommended Houston landscaping company, Garden
Guy.
Here is the response that the Garden Guy company sent to the gay
couple:
" I am
appreciative of your time on the phone today and glad you contacted
us. I need to tell you that we cannot meet with you
because
we choose not to work for homosexuals. Best
of luck in finding someone else to meet your landscaping
needs.”
Well, how
nice of them to end with "best of luck" Didn't the last sentence
seem a little cynical?
The story continues. The gay couple, in state of shock, emailed all
their friends asking them not to patronize Garden Guy and to email
this message to all their friends. The momentum was so strong that
it literally blew up on the web. The email campaign became so huge
that it reached the offices of the APLD, or Association of
Professional Landscape Designers.
The APLD, under pressure from it's own members, and barrage of
negative toned phone calls, made an official statement condemning
the owners actions and hastily formed a non-discrimination policy
for its members. The owners of the Garden Guy claimed to belong to
the APLD, but APLD officials stated that Garden Guy were currently
not members of their organization, nor would they be invited to be
in the future.
Here is APLD's official statement.
"It
has come to our attention that a former member has declined a
professional engagement on the grounds of the prospective clients'
sexual orientation. This conduct does not conform to the policy and
practice of APLD,"
Hard to believe?, people. That in the year 2006 we would see a
thing like this.
Oh, before I forget, let me share with you Garden Guy's pledge to
"all" of its customers:
"Treating
you with respect and honesty are [sic] the cornerstones of our
reputation.”
......
Thank You
America!
Thank you, America!
Thank you, for letting your voice be heard. I feel good to be an

Is there hope that Americans can
escape this Neocon nightmare?
I haven't felt this good in so long. I feel a bit more hopeful that
the World may have the chance to become a better place.
I hope the Democrats understand the great challenge before
them.
But for now, it's time to celebrate!....Thank you, America, for
voting. Thank you for letting the American peoples collective voice
be heard, loud and clear....

This whole Rev Ted
Haggard scandal has got me really thinking.
I wanted to share a comment that I made in response to a question
that came up in my mind after reading a response by a reader on my
blog:
Do people like
Rev. Ted Haggard and Marc Foley cast a negative light on the gay
community when they are publicly outed?
Here is the reader's post and my response:
Lesa | 11.05.06 -
5:27 p.m. |
"Mike Jones, the ex-male prostitute, did not hold a gun to this
hypocrites closeted head. This does not shame the gay community. It
shows us that many bigots, gay bashers are spewing hate because
they themselves ARE gay and don't have the courage to live as
such."
Tigger | Homepage
| 11.05.06 - 11:19 p.m. |
"Firstly, thank you for stopping by my blog.
You brought up a good question for me:
"Do people like Ted Haggard and Marc Foley hurt the gay community
overall when they are publicly outed?"
As an out gay man, I think it is really sad that someone, like Ted
Haagard, has lived his entire Life hating a part of himself and
having the inability to be truthful to himself and accept that
being gay is just a real
and normal
part of who he is. It is the way that God intended him to be.
I am glad that Mike Jones did what he did. He was speaking from the
side of Truth.
My problem with people like, Ted Haggard and Marc Foley, is that
they live in the public eye. When confronted with accusations
supported by supporting facts, people like Ted and Marc, more than
often end up putting such a negative spin on their own reasons why
they have had gay sex. "The Devil made me do It." "I got lost in
the Darkside", "I had a broken childhood", "I was a victim of child
abuse", "I am an alcoholic", etc...
The general public hears these explanations via mass media, and
some people think these reasons as true. It gives them some
explanation to understand why someone is a homosexual. It feeds
their ego and makes them comfortable with themselves. For these
people, the last thing their gonna accept as a reason as to why
someone is a homosexual is ..."I was just born this way"
Falsehoods such as the ones stated above, is where Haggard and
Foley's explanations hurt the gay community as whole, because it
creates false impressions of who we are as seen by the general
public.
There isn't a clear answer either way, I feel."
.:.
I would
love to hear anyone else's view on this subject, gay or straight
readers.
Let me know what you think.

Evangelical
Rev. Ted Haggard and boyfriend, or whore depending on how you look
at it.
Lie to
God, and your gonna fall.
Wow, who would have imagined another staunch conservative
Republican would turn out to be gay? Marc Foley in Congress, now
evangelical Rev. Ted Haggard. A married man and a father of five
children.
Reverend Ted Haggard has been accused of paying for monthly trysts
with a gay man for the last three years. Let me tell you, these are
the gay men I truly despise. Their lies hurt the whole gay
community. Additionally, Ted Haggard is very staunch vocal opponent
of gay marriage. Gays like Haggard only make it so much more
difficult for gays that had the courage to be truthful with
themselves and came out of the closet. We only go backwards when
people like Haggard come out, only after they have been outed
publicly.
Of course, Rev. Haggard is denying all accusations. But, he has
resigned from his head post of the 14,000 member New Life
Church.
Haggard responded to comments with the
following:
"I am
voluntarily stepping aside from leadership so that the overseer
process can be allowed to proceed with integrity," Haggard said in
a written statement. "I hope to be able to discuss this matter in
more detail at a later date."
I don't know about you,
but why would you step aside if it wasn't true? At least Marc Foley
admitted he was gay and resigned.
Well Rev. Haggard...your lie came back to destroy you. I believe
that God is sending you a strong message. What I have marveled the
most about this current election season, is the opposite effect the
gay issues are having on the Republican Party. In 2004, gay
marriage cost Democrats their votes because it rallied all the
evangelicals of the right to vote Republican, but in 2006, gays
issues are bringing down the Republicans. Karma, you say?
Maybe.
Additionally Rev Haggard's opposition to gay marriage is not his
only evangelical crusade. He is also a strong anti-evolution
critic. Please, Please, Please...watch the You Tube video below.
The clip is taken from Richard Dawkin's documentary about American
evangelical born-again Christians. In this clip, Richard Dawkin
argues with Rev. Ted Haggard over his disbelief of scientific
evolution theory.
You've got to see Haggard argue his Creationism position.
Two things by the end of the clip become very apparent:
1. How could anyone believe Ted Haggard is NOT
gay?
2. Ted Haggard sounds like a madman.
Are we in a cultural civil
war?
Over the last two terms of this horrible Administration, I have
seen a chasm growing wider in my America. When did political
personal character attacks become mean and malicious? Something
unique is happening in America today. We are dividing against one
another. I see it happening. It scares me. .
How can Republicans really believe that everything is fine in
America in the year 2006? We are in a war that was based on a lie.
Our government has lied to us repeatedly. Our moral credibility is
for shit in the international community. I cringe whenever I start
to think about how many American lives that has been lost, and the
tremendous amount of money that has been wasted. For nothing at
all. That is what makes the sting that much worse.
I feel like people are becoming more aggressive in general. More
prone to really take a personal attack to a very personal level. I
think this is a major part of the problem that is causing Americans
to choose sides, to separate, to become divided. The mudslinging
has been taken to new extremes during the Bush presidency.
Personally, I think the whole thing has become very scary and ugly.
We are alienating ourselves away from the people (i.e. Democrats,
Liberals, Progressives, Gays, Minorities, Illegal Immigrants, the
list is to long to write) were told are "wrong", "dangerous",
"unpatriotic", "weak", "suspicious", and "fearful"...
And there is the magic word, folks. FEAR. Fear is dividing us. FEAR will destroy us.
Watch the video from Media
Matters.org, in which Pat
Buchanan rattles out a bungling, monolog regarding how John Kerry's
troop remarks may have cost the Democrats a chance to take over the
House of Representatives next Tuesday. Are you kidding me? With all
that is going on in this troubled, war ravaged World, we are
devoting attention to this. Sad, people, sad.
Go out and vote next Tuesday. We have remove these nonpartisan,
corrupt GOP congressmen from our government. I know we will never
be free from all corruption, but this is a very pivotal moment in
our federal government. We have to act today. Vote for
change.
We may never get this chance again to create change and reform. We
must bring back the balance to our government.

It is feared that this "super fire" could be disastrous if it
climbs further northward to the resort towns of the Big Bear Lake area. The condition of the fire has
become so severe due to high winds, ample dry and dead forest trees
killed by bark beetles and the sizzling 108 F day temperatures
with plenty of desert winds fanning the flames. Currently, there
are over 4000 firefighters fighting this giant desert forest
fire.

Depression is a disease. It is a chronic disease that you just have
to learn to live with. The only way I can describe it is like...a
permeating cloud of anxiety that lies below the surface of
everything in your life. Your home, your work, your personal lives
with others. It is always there, slowly sucking away at your energy
to enjoy your life with yourself and others you care about.
There are times of remission, and times of great battles. This last
"battle" has been especially difficult for me because of the amount
of physical pain I have experienced living through it. I've had
numerous migraine headaches and a lot of generalized fatigue. I
have missed quite a bit of work. Also, I have had some personal bad
news in the last three weeks that has exacerbated an already very
difficult emotional period. All of these factors have made this
"battle with the dragon", a very difficult one. Maybe the most
serious battle I have ever had.
Still, being able to comprehend the seriousness of my situation, I
started to take prescribed antidepressants again and return to
psychotherapy, something that I vowed never to do again. It was a
very difficult decision, but I felt in the end, it was what I need
to do at the time for my own mental health.
I have to admit, I am starting to feel a little less anxious and
melancholic. Which is a step in the right direction.
Thank you, again, everyone for your heartfelt wishes and kind
words. It means a lot to me.

Good Riddance Abu Musab
al-Zarqawi!
Satan may have
reclaimed his son today. Abu Musab al-Zarqawi has been killed in a Coalition airstrike
near Baquba, Iraq.
The world is a little safer today.
