Recently, I visited the world famous La Brea Tar Pits. I have lived in Los Angeles for over 12 years now and this was my first visit to the tar pits.

The tar pits have been oozing up liquid asphalt since the last glacial ice age. It's so amazing to think that this stinky, gurgling pond of tar has been in this same place for thousands of years.

Adjacent to the tar pits, is the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, or LACMA for short. I took a few snaps of the museum and grounds.
