A powerful anti ship weapon that can be built in great numbers on a base.
Useless against fighters, assault pods and armored ground assaults. A hit from an ion cannon can
damage and enemy ship or knock a ship away from the base.
All Ion Cannons have a generator that produces energy that is used for base defence. The following
structures generate energy:
Ion Cannons 1 gw each
Cities 1 gw each
Anti Air Guns 0.5 gw each
Factories 0.05 gw each
Gen = ioncannon city + factory / 20 + antiair / 2
Bases all start combat with E gw of energy reserves
E = Gen X 100
Every 3rd combat tick the base gains ( Gen X 2 ) units of energy
By default Anti Aircraft Guns use 10 gw of energy per shot
By default Ion Cannons use 100 gw of energy per shot
