We accomplish this goal by generating and supporting high quality arts and cultural experiences. We ensure access to those experiences through grant making, marketing, development, communication, and building relationships with our community partners. Our challenge is to be a catalyst for the delivery of art, culture, and heritage to every neighborhood in the City of Los Angeles.

Play-7-logoPlay7 asks, what is intimate theatre, anyway? It's hard to say because of the incredible diversity of the art form. But one thing is for sure: it's as close as you can get without holding a karaoke mic, and no one wants that, do they? No. Intimate theatre engages you because you are there in the space with the performers, breathing the same air, experiencing the story more directly, more personally than in any other medium. You can't get that from the boob tube, can you?

White Cane Productions showcases the disabled in innovative stories, representing them as more provocative, conflicted and humorous people. The good intentions of my company are reflected in our name, which was inspired by my experiences working with the blind. Our first screenplay is entitled "Fade Out," and stars a lead character who struggles with blindness and a dramatic family history.

It's time for people with disabilities to be shown as beautiful, enviable and dynamic!
