| I was looking at WordPress themes this afternoon and some how stumbled onto this site. It was actually the main page of a blog with a bunch of other posts... I was about to close the window when I heard Star Wars sounds in the background. I scroll down the page to find Darth Vader going to town with two turn tables and a microphone. I had to post about it some where right away so I put it up on another site i belong to GeekGather.org |

The Current 89.3 is a new radio station in the Twin Cities. I listened for about 4 hours last night and was truly pleased with the varietly of music. It was a very different sounding mix but it all meshed together nicely over the course of the evening.
I like that they are offering aacPlus and Windows Media Format for online streaming. I dont think iTunes supports aacPlus yet as i couldnt get the stream to open. The website for The Current also caught my attention. I really like the fact that the playlist for the past 6 hours is available for viewing. They even have a blog, Whats Up With 89.3?, that adds a nice view into whats happening at the station.
