The Wyatt/Gholdston Wedding
July 21st,
2007
Kathryn and Jake were married in Santa Monica at the LDS temple. Just like the last couple I worked with the week before, the first time I met Kathryn and Jake was when they made their first public appearance as husband and wife as they walked out of the temple doors. I was delighted with how sweet spirited they both were and how easy they were to work with. Kathryn admitted to feeling a little awkward and shy in front of my camera, but she soon warmed up and looked very comfortable with her new husband Jake.

Jake had a super fun and playful personality, its probably one of the reasons that Kathryn fell in love with him. Here is a perfect example of Jake's personality, he accidentally forgot his black socks and had to wear these unmatching argyle ones...this was his pose for me.
This is my favorite shot of the day...gotta love the Raybans!
Jake and Kathryn were super hungry after exiting the temple so they sent one of the groomsmen to fetch a couple of burgers from Jack in the Box.
After shooting on the temple grounds we headed over for some downtown L.A. action...
I loved the color of this wall with Kathryn's eyes and hair.
