Meet Mr. & Mrs. Minh Duong...

Thi and Minh came all the way out from Alabama to Southern California to get married... they decided to accommodate all of their friends and family that live here and they chose me to capture this amazingly eventful day for them.

We started out in the morning with some getting ready shots at the hotel...the girls were getting ready for Thi and Minh's tea ceremony.









I loved Thi's traditional dress for the tea ceremony...very colorful!



The ceremony took place at one of Thi's relative's home.






Thi's bridesmaids were very colorful as well!






After the tea ceremony it was time to get ready for the church ceremony....did I mention that Thi had a total of three dresses for that day?! The dress on the right Thi wore to walk down the isle in, the one of the left she later wore at the reception...its a Reem Acra dress and it was gorgeous on Thi!


















I thought it was awesome that Thi and Minh decided to include all of their little cousins in their wedding line!






Okay....So I know that this shot is totally random, but I never get a chance to give credit to my amazing assistant Michael! He seriously is a life saver and puts up with me ordering him around every weekend, plus he carries everything for me so I don't have to! Not only is he a great assistant, but an even better little brother, I love him to death! I had a great time shooting with Matt and Angie Sloan, they came all the way from Arizona and helped me with this wedding. Matt took this shot of Michael and me.



Back to the wedding....here's Thi right before she walked down the isle.







As you could see, we had some fun with the stained glass windows at the church.

Among all the other amazing things about this wedding, I had the great opportunity to work with another awesome wedding coordinator, Michelle McFarlane with Annie M. Events...she did a great job at organizing the day and making sure that everything ran smoothly!




At the reception, all the children decided to take over the stage to do a little performance for Thi and Minh...it was adorable!






And of course, my last shot of the day, I had to get it with the newlyweds...they were so much fun to work with!
