An old Fashioned affair!
Ashley and Jeffrey Perez were married in the
LDS San Diego Temple on May 25th, 2007. While planning the wedding and talking
with the happy couple they both were clear how they wanted everything to have a
vintage/old fashioned flair. For the reception they based the entire style off
of the era of The Great Gatsby. They had a beautiful reception
held at The
Centennial Heritage Museum ...I thought it was the perfect venue to
serve what they had in mind.
This was a fun shot of all the bridesmaids
standing around waiting for Ashley and Jeff to come out of the
temple.
This little flower girl was a total sweetheart in front of the camera...I loved her freckled face!
And of course Ashley wanted a hot shot with everyone's sunglasses on...we had some fun with it!
After a small photo session on the temple grounds we headed over to the Centennial Heritage Museum for more shots of the new Mr. and Mrs. Perez.
I really love to old feel of this shot, it came in as my runner up for the favorite shot of the day...you'll find the winner below...

Jeff's parents hunted me down at the reception for this shot...I thought it was sweet!
Many of you may remember that Jeff was a groomsmen in my little sister's wedding, so of course pickle was a guest at this reception....here she is enjoying a crepe from the amazing crepe bar!
I think one of my favorite parts about this reception was the old school live jazz band...they were fabulous and certainly kept the crowd entertained!
Ashley and Jeff danced to two songs, with the second song Ashley surprised Jeff...they danced as if they were the only ones that existed in that moment. You'll find this song by clicking here to view their slideshow.
