The book-ends of my trip to Vegas...

I was so excited to get away last week to Las Vegas to attend the DWF convention. Not only was this a chance for me to take a little vacation, but it was a great chance for me to network with some of the best photographers from around the world!

I was lucky enough to hitch a ride with Nate and Jaclyn Kaiser, the fab-duo couple of The Image is Found. It started out to be such a fun trip from the very beginning and I was thrilled to be carpooling with the Kaiser clan, along with Jay Reilly and his brother Andrew Reilly.

We all wanted to make a session out of the trip and shoot something artsy. We had super high intentions of shooting at the random abandoned water park off of the i-15....well here is what happened...

We saw this sign and got a little scared!

We walked around for a while and tried to muster up some courage to go in...

We got our gear out and headed into dangerous waters...

Just as we thought we were free and clear, we were stopped! Luckily, we got off property before anything crazy happened!

We still were able to find a crazy location to shoot at....these run-down places amaze me and the stuff one could find lying about!

Like I said, its amazing the random things one could find lying about an abandoned building off of the i-15!

So here is the other book-end of my trip to Vegas....I hitched another ride with my good friends Matt and Angie Sloan of Sloan Photographers. We headed back toward Arizona, I was to meet my in-laws there to pick up Hudson. Matt found this crazy location as he was driving and I am so glad that he decided to stop!

We found yet another random abandoned structure left for dead! It looked like something out of a horror film! I really like the shots I got from this location!

The next post is coming soon....fun shots from my point and shoot with all of my fellow photographer friends. Keep a look out for it!
