working?
Testing testing 123? Bloody Technology. What's the point eh? Posted at 08:47 AM Sat - February 4, 2006Pah!No Ferrari for me. Still, I have the Duchess -
car of dreams.
Off to rock Maidstone. Lucky People. Posted at 01:20 PM Fri - February 3, 2006The Return of The JaseWell it's been quite some time since I was able
to write my last entry. I have now been reunited with my lovely imac so I can
now tell anyone who might be interested (Mum?) about life since the eviction
(Jubilee Wharf - not Big
Brother).
After a night winning the pub quiz at the Approach Tavern and then getting stupidly drunk and spending all my winnings and much more at dubious clubs in Bethnal Green with the king of all bad influence Dan March I picked up my suitcase, guitar and banjo from Jubilee Wharf, and buggered off to Holland. Fantastic. Had a marvellous time playing guitar in the spectacular 'Hold Tight it's 80s Night!'. Dose Crazzee Dutch - dey very very love it! Wonderful band, cast and crew, lovely house, big, modern theatres and the opportunity to Rock. Best of all I made some great chums who I'm still working with now in various shows. I've just heard on the news that there's £125 million pound jackpot on the lottery. I never buy lottery tickets but what the hell, I'm off the the newsagents. I'd suit a Ferrari. updated my blog. Very shoddy I know. So what's been happening in the
meantime....
Finished the films for Lancaster Castle prison. My first foray into doing everything myself since 'The Bus' proved a hit. By the way, The Bus is now being recognised as a classic of the short/horror/transport genre and being screened as part of the Supershorts film festival in Soho - click here for link - and at the Mocha Film Club Bombay. Evicted from Jubilee Wharf for having too much fun. Glad to go as although it's a lovely flat but everyone is so stuffy. They actually thought that I was running a business because when friends came to visit the neighbours thought they were 'workers'. Just goes to show how impersonal London has become. People exist in their boxes and the notion of popping around to visit someone for a cuppa and a chat seems completely alien. If you want to meet up with a friend in London you can spend an entire evening trying to work out when you're both free - should have just gone straight out that night. Oh for the halcyon days of uni when there would be a knock on your door followed by the words "last orders" and you'd be off. And they said I couldn't keep Mrs Tillywinkle. How mean is that! Hopefully in the next few months I'll be off to Holland to play guitar then off to South Africa to film elephants.
Oh yeh, did Glastonbury again. Here I am hosting Blind-da Date. Posted at 03:16 PM Sun - March 13, 2005FilmakerMy new camera arrives on Tuesday. From now on I'm
Jason Read 'Filmaker'.
Posted at 11:52 PM Sat - March 5, 2005Handbags and DemonsCharlie had a bunch of friends over from the
States this week. They were a lovely bunch of people who hadn't quite got the
hang of keeping hold of their belongings. I think the total of losses on their
departure was 2 x cameras, 2 x handbags and 1 passport! Still cameras and bags
come and go but if you make new friends then you can keep them for
good.
Lela and Hazel came over yesterday. We made a sequel to Haunted Hazel - Haunted Hazel II : Demon Nights. Posted at 07:34 PM Wed - February 23, 2005Rocket ManFollow this link for a Shat classic. Yes, it's
the legendary William Shatner performing Rocket Man at the 1978 Sci-fi
convention. Towards the end you actually get three Shats for the price of one.
Value.
Rocket Man Posted at 10:52 PM Read More Where everybody knows yor name.I'm beginning to feel like Norm from cheers. Yes
the Prospect of Whitby is just down the road, but I must resist the temptation
to go there so often. If only I had a laaaadieeeee to occupy my time.

Posted at 12:35 AM Mon - February 21, 2005To be sure, to be sure, to be sure....Eamon Holmes came in the studio this morning to
record a voiceover. He was a very chummy fellow. He got a bit confused when he
arrived though, he walked into a cupboard thinking it was the recording booth.
Or maybe, because he's Oirish, he was just doing it for the
crack.
Posted at 04:39 PM Sat - February 19, 2005Shoddy!I've have been shoddy in the extreme for a number
of months keeping my blog up to date. So much has happened since my last entry I
don't know where to begin. So I won't. Instead here's a picture of some
monkeys.

marathon would be the last one I ever ran. Now I've gone and entered this year's
race. What an idiot. I blame Tash, it was all her idea to do it again. Oh well,
it's done now, better get into training. Time to load up Eye of the Tiger into
the ipod. Da! da da Da! da da Da! dada derrrrrr.
Posted at 11:05 PM Sayonara DJ JaseHad a fantastic weekend in Bristol for Maddie's
leaving do and back in London for the luvly Jo Jo's birthday, which was a
riotously drunken affair full of song, dance and rock and roll. It was also my
last night in London on the Wheels of Steel. Apart from the odd friend's wedding
here and there I've given the heave ho to DJing. Let's face it, playing records
is hardly rocket science. If I don't give up now I may just fall into the trap
of actually BECOMING a DJ and I would hate that to happen. I've always thought
that DJs were a bit sad. There's so much more I want to do and so much that I
have been doing recently that something had to go.
