Airport Growth



For those of you who aren't paying attention, the area is growing. The growth is evidenced by the master plan of the Charlottesville/Albemarle regional airport . Perk up, people! Our quaint little five-gate airport is maturing. Larger planes, more flights and more make this more of an option nowadays.

From the DP today -
Some improvements scheduled to take place before the plan’s next review in 10 years include construction of new hangars and expansion of current ones, a new snow/maintenance building and a multi-level parking deck for customers, among other enhancements.

The runways are being expanded as well as the facilities ... Dulles here we come!
