Join Red


My blog started as a personal way for me to connect with my friends and family and to keep an online journal. Then it evolved into a nice little marketing tool for my business. I also wanted it to be a place where I can help, and inspire other wedding photographers. I also can go on and on about things that I enjoy like movies, baseball, football, Tivo, great food, U2, Apple, etc...

But, whenever I can, I like to post about things that really matter. I want to use this platform to let my audience know how they can help make the world a better place. Today is the official U.S. launch of (RED) a foundation started by Bono and Bobby Shriver to raise awareness and money for the global fund by teaming up with the world's most iconic brands to produce (RED) branded products. A Percentage of each product sold is given to the Global Fund. The money helps women and children with HIV/AIDS in Africa. www.joinred.com

Apple released the (RED) iPod today (and I will be heading to the Apple store as soon as I am done posting this.




I am urging everyone to Join (RED) and to also keep an eye out for products that support such a worthy cause. (or you can just bust out your checkbook and send some money to the Global Fund). I will be looking into becoming an official affiliate and donating a portion of all family and children portrait sessions to (RED) --- details to follow.
