Elopement Photos


I got a call the other day from a couple that is planning their wedding reception for January 5th, 2008, 1 year from today. It will be at the Old Ivy Cottage in Laguna Beach, but they told me they were eloping this Friday (today). The groom is a US. Marine and he is headed to Iraq next month, so they wanted to tie the knot before he takes off. I offered to shoot the elopement and a few portraits today whether they hired me for their reception or not.

It was the windiest day I can remember in the OC. I thought the palm trees in front of the Laguna Hills Civic Center were going to fall over:




But at least the bride brought her lint brush:




The ceremony was short and sweet, and it was nice that their folks and a couple of friends were there:
