Wedding Photography Fund????

I shot a great engagement session for a cool couple this afternoon. The groom to be was originally introduced to me through a mutual friend a few years ago, and has since become a friend and my dvd collection challenger (he actually has a few more movies than I do). The funny thing is, I was actually present at their first date. We all went to the CSU Fullerton Baseball game and then to Islands afterwards. It was a group outing, so technically not their first alone date, but that night, the bride to be, told me she had seen my work from friend of hers whose weddings I shot in the past, and told me she had started a "wedding photography fund" so she could afford to hire me whenever the day arrives. I have actually had lots of single girls tell me this, but this is the first one I am actually shooting! I am really excited to shoot their wedding for a few reason: 1) They are so cute together and you can just tell how in love they are. 2) It's always fun for me to shoot weddings of people I know. After all, my goal is to always show up as if I were an old friend with a fancy camera. This time I really am. and 3) I really think it's cool that she started that special fund to to be able to hire me, it tells me that she really wants me there and I love shooting for people who make a special effort to get me to their wedding. That's why I have a scale on my website contact page, folks who put 11, get called back right away. People who put in a 7 or lower, I send them a note telling them I am not available and refer them to someone else. I only want to shoot for couple who really want me to be there. Sorry for the tangent, here's the cute couple:
