September 8th, Rancho Capistrano

Today's wedding was extra special for me to shoot. My office manager Kathleen tied the knot to her boyfriend of 3 years in a fun celebration at Rancho Capistrano. Kat joined the [ b ] team in February of last year right after I returned from Kenya. She immediately fit right in and her warm, caring personality is one of the greatest assets of my business. Her man is one lucky guy! She's pretty lucky too as he is just about the coolest guy ever. The entire day was just filled with so much love and emotion. They both come from great families and their friends were wonderful as well. I have grown to love and adore Kathleen as she is one of my closest friend and confidants. I even got a tad emotional today seeing her so happy. A lot of times at weddings, people are understandable nervous right before the ceremony. Not these two. They were both ready to run down the aisle and were so excited to be married! Ok, enough of my rambling... here are some photos (the new and improved super-sized version):

First and foremost... the Giuseppe-Zanotti's:

Everyone wanted a shot of these bad boys:

The groom and his dad were very close and it reminded me of how thankful I am for my dad and our relationship:

I am just so freaking happy for these two!:

One more of the bride just because she rocked it so well:

These guys are just so genuine. Their faith and their families matter most to them:

During the first dance, the groom's new Tag Hueur caught my eye (nice gift eh?):

Cake is good!:

One of the groomsmen was an old friend of the bride and really wanted to be a bridesmaid and he was bringing "Sexy Back":

Personal to Kathleen (no one else read this!):

Hey babe, you were absolutely stunning today! I was so honored to be a part of your day and I am so thankful you are a part of my life. Even though I am so grateful for all you do for my business, I am more thankful to have you as a friend. I am so happy for you and your boy and I hope one day to have what you two have. Have so much fun in Costa Rica but hurry up and get back... we miss and need you back so much. Love, [ b ]
