Bad Wedding Photos

I have to thank a fellow photographer for turning me onto my new favorite blog of all time (besides mine of course). If you are a photographer, a bride or anyone else in the wedding industry, you will get a huge kick out of Bad Wedding Photos. I spent a good half hour or so on that blog this afternoon and i was laughed so hard I started crying and almost wet myself. Make sure you go back through the archives and really see some of the true gems this site has to offer.

Here are a few shots I punked off of the site. I did not shoot these. I repeat, I did not shoot these:

Again, I did not shoot these! I blurred the face of the name of the photo studio on last one to protect the "innocent".

Note to my brides: If you ask me to take a shot like the one above, I will be forced to stop shooting and leave immediately. I have always prided myself on accommodating just about any request from my couples, but in this case, I have to draw the line and think about my reputation.

I actually own badweddingphotographers.com. There isn't anything there yet, but I plan to develop a resource for brides to be able to tell the difference between, good, bad, mediocre and outstanding wedding photography. As you can see from the blog above... it's not so obvious to some people.

And just so you don't all think I am being too mean, I am going to dig up some of my photos from when I first started shooting and I'll post them in a couple of days. I certainly have a few shots that could be included on this blog. I just have to go out to the garage and find the negs, then get them scanned or something. Off the top of my head I am thinking of the groom with the grey tux and the super huge mullet.
