Oh no! Richard Jeni is dead.
I just read on CNN.com that comedian Richard
Jeni has died of an apparent gun shot wound to the head. I am so sad
right now. He was one of my absolute favorite comedians. I saw him several times
at the Irvine Improv and loved his sense of
humor.
I remember seeing him back in the early 90's and he did about about Clamato juice. In his Brooklyn accent and attitude, he's like: "It's clam, and tomato... and you drink it. (pause) Notice I said YOU f--king drink it!"
Sad.
Rest in peace Richard!
