Happy Birthday Kat!


Last night we headed down to Laguna Beach to celebrate my office manager Kathleen's birthday at Javier's. Dang, that girl has a lot of friends because the waiters just kept adding tables and chairs as more and more people arrived. Her husband Travis took some photos too.











On the way home, we had a little scare. As we were driving down the toll road, we could see a huge fire in the direction of both my house and Jessica's place. As it turns out, it was between the two (although much closer to Jessica in Ladera Ranch). Thankfully it was just a brush fire and when we went by, no homes had been destroyed (I pray it stays that way). Her house is just about a mile of so to the left of this shot and I live about 2 miles or so to the right of it and my parents live just a mile or so behind the fire. The Santa Ana winds were blowing hard (as you can read from yesterday's post)
