NYC Wrap up

I am back in the OC and looking forward to my wedding this afternoon, but I wanted to post more images from NYC and fill everyone in on the rest of my trip. I still can't get over what a great weather we had and just a fabulous time that was had by all.

I am so proud of Jessica as she did an amazing job with her seminar. My Bermuda couple that I shot last month was kind enough to come out and model for the class, so I tagged along with the group and shot a few images myself.

This was another one of the models who is getting married next summer:

I also demonstrated my self portrait techniques to class:

Halloween night was absolutely crazy. They have this huge parade and I have never seen so many people in my entire life. We were in a cab for 40 minutes to go 6 of 7 blocks, then decided to just walk to the restaurant but couldn't cross 6th avenue so we missed our dinner plans.

So we ended up in Time Square:

After demonstrating another self portrait techniques about 4 or 5 times, Jess shot a movie of me in action:

Here is one of the resulting photos (notice the nice blur action):

For years, every time I go to New York, people have been telling me to go to Peter Luger's for the best steak in town. Wednesday night we went with one of Jessica's wedding couples and it certainly lived up to the hype. Here is the remnants of the meal:

And the four of us out front afterwards:

After dinner, Jess & I went to a pre convention party at Jason's Groupp's studio in Chelsea. It was great to catch up with some of my hommies from the east coast as well as meet some new friends.

Keats & Marisa make a Becker sandwich:

Who can forget Desiree, the only girl I know who can talk baseball every bit as good as I do. I tried to console her since her Mets suffered such a heartbreaking loss to the Cardinals in game 7 of the NLCS:

Speaking of the Cardinals, Alisha was at Game 5 when St. Louis won it all over Detroit (notice the (RED) bracelet from the Gap next to my Tag):

And finally, here are just some random images taken with my point and shoot camera around Manhattan.

Although I had an amazing time in New York this past week, I sure love being home and sleeping in my own bed, with my own shower, and my Tivos. Some time next week I'll post my photo field trip through Chinatown.

And for those who care, I only gained one pound while I was there. I ate a ton, but I also walked forever. I am back in the routine and headed out for a walk before my wedding today.

Thanks again for stopping by!
