More Family PhotosAfter the lovely response from last
week's batch of old photos, I looked through my personal photos albums and dug
up a few more gems!
The first one, my dad threatened to cut me out of the will if I posted it, but I am "doin' alright" with the finances so I don't need his money! In his defense, my mom was in beauty school at the time and needed some practice with the perms: ![]() I think this is my favorite photo of me and my dad. It was taken near Bridgeport, California at a campground that we still visit quite often: ![]() Here's my first time being a ring bearer. I'd do just about anything to get that tux in a 46R today: ![]() I was such a wholesome, innocent little boy. This was taken on the day of my First Communion: ![]() This is my bedroom wall during high school. I used to shoot for the school newspaper and yearbook. The lab we processed the film at gave free double prints so I turned my wall into a yearbook (not to mention a shrine to all the pretty girls I had crushes on): ![]() My senior photo. I was the only kid in school who had their mom come down to fix my hair right as they were getting ready to take the photos. You'd think I'd be embarrassed having my mom come to school to fix my hair in front of all the other kids, but not me... all the girls asked my mom to help them out so she stayed for a bit... after all, she is a professional hair stylist (see perm photos above). And to quote Sam Malone, Ted Danson's character on Cheers, "Good looks opens doors. Good hair blows them off the hinges". Thanks mom: ![]() .
