Photo Field Trip - Bermuda

While most people would lounge around the pool drinking frosty beverages with umbrellas in the glass during a tropical vacation, Jessica and I like to go out and shoot the world! We had a day off before the wedding tomorrow, so we cruised all around Bermuda on a little photo safari.

We started at the Crystal Caves, 120 below the surface to see some natural caverns that were amazingly beautiful. It's incredible to see how the planet evolves and hold hidden treasures.

We also went to the town on St. George, where Bermuda was first discovered by some shipwrecked British sailors in 1609. St. Peter's church was completed in 1612 and is the oldest church in the western hemisphere (at least that's what our cab driver told us).

The cemetery out back had some really old headstones. Most of them were illegible and warn down to nubs:

I love the textures I find in other countries. We don't get none of that in the OC (how's that for the Queen's English?):

I am not so sure about the message they are sending to the youngsters on the island:

This is from inside of the Unfinished Church. I wonder why they named it that?:

Jessica wasn't on her best behavior so I had to give her a timeout:

We are looking forward to shooting an awesome wedding tomorrow and should have pictures up by the end of the day!
