Photo Field Trip #2 --- Negril, Jamaica


In effort to keep my New Year's resolution in tact, today I embarked on another photo field trip where I shot just for myself. Jessica and I went to a little fishing village in Negril and fired away. I know some people think I am crazy to actually go out and shoot photos when I could have been napping in the hammock or chilling out by the pool and/or beach, but I just really love photography.

Shortly after we arrived, we met Lloyd, who had some very interesting and insightful views on the world. We actually talked to him for about 15 minutes and he was very friendly and helpful.

I love the textures of the doorways, walls, windows, ect...








I also loved the texture and color on the bottom of this boat:



This was the catch from a local fisherman (those black dots near the top are actually flies buzzing around). When we were leaving, we saw the man selling his fish on the street:



This guy did not have a good day fishing, and he was mending his nets as we walked by:
