not all the ceilings are low...
The main hall fireplace - the metal back-plate is dated 1702. This filreplace was a lter adition - the main chimney is thought to pre-date the upper story.
one of the internal doors - probably of a similar age to the eighteenth century oak panneling in the sitting room.
