I use a Pathfinder voice output communication aid so there's a lot about AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) here. These few hundred words are the building blocks of our language. Don't just give me lesson nouns. I want to talk to my friends. Mum helps me at home. Teach non-verbal kids the right words and they will acquire language in same stages everyone else does, with a small steps approach if needed.
