With this design, items will be placed on the nodes, rather than in the cells, giving each item a three-component file path of Group Colour + Column Colour + Row Colour. The coloured 'ribbons' behind the icons in Janet's Teddies, Slide 21 gave us the idea.

Eye-gazing skills transfer seamlessly from communication board / eye-gaze frame to high-tech AAC systems and computers, where a webcam type device reads the eye movements, and a user gazes at a hotspot on screen to activate it. Read about communication by gaze interaction at COGAIN
