Author’s Preface Here's the Space Master story so far, as promised! Please keep in mind that this was actually written in the mid-eighties (they had barely invented desktop computers back then -- this was written largely on a thing called a Kaypro that had two 5.25" floppy drives, no hard drive, 64K of RAM and ran on an operating system called CP/M. Then I gaduated to a little Mac Plus, and was writing the whole thing on little 3.5" floppies. These files were salvaged from those ancient disks with faded gooey labels. Whew!
I haven't done much to the text except make a quick editing pass and correct the worst of the writing. As you'll see, I also used the quick and dirty 'Save as web page' option out of Microborg Word; hope it's readable. Let me know what you think! (Also feel free to email me if you find typos, etc.; I proofread it but things slip by)
