As you might imagine, this document contains basic terminology.
Daily practice of these basic techniques in good form will greatly enhance your training.
This is our first kata and is the only kata you'll find on this website. It is provided as a courtesy for students to get one idea how a kata can be written. Some people find it helpful to write a kata after they have learned it. You should never try to learn a kata from written words.
For the first test (1st green stripe - promotion to 9 kyu), you should concentrate on the first set of ippon kumite. The second set is for students who have a white belt with one or more stripes.
Students are responsible for knowing and adhering to the rules. This is not a complete list. See sensei with questions.
