hierarchical systems
The results of the Political Compass indicate i am probably a somewhat left-leaning liberal person in my economic views, and i am a very far left person in terms of my Social Libertarian views. My Economic Left/Right: -6.25 (with -10.0 being farthest Left, and +10.0 as farthest Right) reflects my willingness to pay taxes and accept some types of general social cooperation in the form of markets and collectivist behaviors. My Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -9.13 (with -10.0 being absolutely Libertarian, and +10.0 as absolutely Authoritarian) shows how i am so far out of step with our society which i generally consider to be an oppressive affront to our potential individualism, and it shows my disagreement with most hierarchical systems of social conformity.
When i was playing 5~Faan MahJong with some nice people in the Lion's Lair including my buddy Natallie, i won a magnificent hand with 8192 Tile Points. I had my own~flower plus a complete season~kong (+3F), all~pongs in mixed suits (+3F), and i was lucky to self~pick the last~tile of the wall (+2F) for a total of 8~Faan. This was one of the highest scores i ever earned on Yahoo Games.
I posted a new diary entry in my Last.FM journal. I've been a member there for about ten weeks, and i've scrobbled nearly five thousand tracks played in my iTunes music library. Doing a gross comparison to other users' statistics, i find that my tastes only overlap with about eight or nine percent of what they consider to be "mainstream", and i have a tendency to listen to a broad variety of many hundreds of artists while occasionally favoring a few dozen among those.
My Top Artists and their number of tracks scrobbled since i joined Last.FM on the 26th of March 2007:
