Laura Ibsen, MD, FAAP

Dr. Ibsen obtained her MD degree from UCSD then completed her Pediatric Residency at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD and her Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard School of Public Health. She practiced at Children's Hospital of Akron in Akron, Ohio where she developed a Pediatric ICU manual for house officers that became one of the all-time highest downloads from the PedsCCM web-site (www.pedsccm.org). She joined the faculty of Doernbecher Children's Hospital and Oregon Health and Science University in 1998. She is the Co interim director of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and the medical director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Doernbecher, and Co-Director of the Media-Lab @ Doernbecher.

Ken Tegtmeyer, MD, FAAP

Dr. Tegtmeyer obtained his MD degree from the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. He then completed both his Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Minnesota Department of Pediatrics before joining the Faculty there in 1998. While a fellow he developed the Acute Pediatric Care for Primary Care Practitioners web-site which was listed among the best of the Pediatric Internet by the AAP. He also has developed innovative interactive web-sites including the Mechanical Ventilation Simulator, and the Database Driven Interactive Scenario web-site. He joined the faculty of Doernbecher Children's Hospital and Oregon Health & Science University in 2000.
