This project was very much in the spirit of the R— house, but more refined in terms of the production and dimensional system. It was less ambitious so far as experiments with their minds. It also came in at about half the cost of comparable construction. Examples of systemization in these two projects: perfect utilization of dimensioned material; predrilled electrical holes; prefab continuous blocking; caulking chamfers; onestack plumbing; and 100% keyed framing assemblies.
