These are simple toys, with no effect. We place them here in the story because the form is the shape, the literal minimal surfaces of our vocabulary. Like the museum, the form is the minimal interstices of two polyhedra, in this case a tetrahedron and an octahedron. The model shows the basic defining polytopes. Another model shows the treehouse design, with the actual treehouse pictured. A second edition was built near the ground in a Montessori school playground.
