Naturally, every project we did employed one-dimensional flows. In this category, we only mention the ones that explicitly emphasized them. One might want to look at the urban planning projects below as well. Because of the realities of scale and the physical movement of society, the designer must emphasize the linear vocabulary. In that case however, the experiment in cognitive influence was suspended. Our approach required intimacy and the ability to focus small numbers of minds, as we were looking for deep structure and not the simpler (and better understood) group dynamics. In the home projects, we focused on single perceptions. Obviously with the urban projects, the one dimensional flows were more dramatic, writ for groups.
