TJ & What She's All About

Born in '69, TJ & her husband, Rob, live in the Pacific Northwest in a town called Snoqualmie. Interests include hot-processed soap making, American Tribal belly dancing, Zumba, poetry writing, designing greeting cards, Turbo Jamming, gardening, & refilling hummingbird feeders with a vengeance in the good ol' summertime.

TJ and her hubby, Rob, drove to Alaska via Canada and back in the summer of 2003. They have cruised both the Eastern (2005) and Western (2006) Caribbean as well as Mexico (2007) via Holland America and St. Lucia (Sandals) in 2008.

TJ's Rules For Life (an ongoing list of revelations):

#1. Never assume nor take anyone or anything for granted. Ask if you have questions or doubt.

#2. Never explain your actions to anyone who does not have a personal stake in the matter. It's none of their business.

#3. Never wear white when your period might start.

#4. Never sleep with anyone who has more problems than you do.

#5. Never give anyone your $0.02 worth if they haven't asked for it.

#6. Never get all weirded out if someone of the same sex finds you attractive. Attraction is rare and beautiful. Treat the person with honesty and respect.

#7. Life's too short to have any regrets. The real regrets come later thinking about all the things you could have done yet didn't because it might have disappointed others. Please yourself.

#8. Sing often. It may not win you a record contract, but your plants will thank you for it.

#9. If there's a way around it, try not to break someone's heart.

#10. When you wake up feeling ugly, wearing a pair of naughty underwear will keep a smile on your face the whole day through.

#11. The quickest way for a single woman to lose her job is to screw the boss (either literally or metaphorically).

#12. Good friends are hard to find but easy to keep.

#13. Have enough self-confidence to be able to graciously accept a compliment when it is given.

#14. If you tribal belly dance, never ever drink a glass of wine before attempting to paint on tribal facial dots!

#15. Never speak ill of other people. Doing so only shows a lack of self-confidence on your part. If someone isn't your particular cup of tea, it doesn't make you a bad person, unless you decide to discuss someone's perceived shortcomings with others who may be influenced by you.
