The Handouts and Guide come in a single 3-ring notebook so the handouts can be easily run through a copy machine. The handouts assign 6 sequenced investigations, as well as the two parts of the Performance of Understanding.
Each of the 10 sessions in each module has a Session Guide for the leader, called a Guide, who can be anyone with recognized experience who is willing to let the participants construct their own understanding, in their own way. A metaphor for this leader is an elder. The Guide does not participate.
