Ryo of Wildfire
Leader of the Ronin Warriors, Ryo will go to length to save his fellow soldiers from harm, including refusing to strike a finishing blow against Talpa and charging into obvious ambushes. In Wildfire, Ryo draws upon the essence of fire, spiritually linked to him through Perfect Virtue. When Wildfire absorbs the energies of the other Ronin armors, he can possess the white armor of Inferno, once belonging to the ancient demon Hariel. The power of Inferno is unmatched by any known force, able to destroy or create entire worlds. Ryo is often joined by his highly intelligent, extremely large white tiger named Whiteblaze. Using his full ability, Sage can mend muscle and bone, healing injuries. In Halo, Sage draws upon the element of light, spiritually linked to him through Wisdom. He wields the arsenal of life, light, and lightning. In Torrent, he draws on the element of water, linked to him through the virtue of Trust. Torrent allows him to swim freely in even the strongest current. Also, he may be able to talk to fish. NAME: Cye DESCRIPTION: Medium-Length Brown Hair with Sideburns BIRTHDAY: 14 March 1973 (Pisces) BIRTHPLACE: Hagi, Yamaguchi HEIGHT: 5'5" WEIGHT: 119 lbs BLOOD: A ARMOR: Torrent (Cyan) WEAPON: Yari VIRTUE: Shin (Trust) SUREKILL: "Super Wave Smasher" Rowen of Strata The calmest and most clear-thinking Ronin, Rowen is able to keep a level head in even dire circumstances. In Strata, Rowen draws upon space, linked to him through Life. While all the armors can create barrier shells protecting their hosts from extreme attacks and environments, Strata is most conscious of its shield, allowing Rowen limited flight. NAME: Rowen DESCRIPTION: Wild Short Blue Hair with Bandanna BIRTHDAY: 10 October 1973 (Libra) BIRTHPLACE: Osaka Fu HEIGHT: 5'5" WEIGHT: 121 lbs BLOOD: AB ARMOR: Strata (Blue) WEAPON: Hankyu VIRTUE: Inochi (Life) SUREKILL: "Arrow Shock Wave" Kento of Hardrock Possessing the most brute strength, Kento's also the Ronin with the biggest appetite. Quick to charge into battle, Kento has little concern for tactics or stratagem; he's happy as long as he gets the first attack. In Hardrock, Kento draws upon the element of earth, linked spiritually to him through the virtue of Justice. NAME: Kento DESCRIPTION: Short Black Hair with Bandanna BIRTHDAY: 1 September 1973 (Virgo) BIRTHPLACE: Yokohama, Kanagawa HEIGHT: 5'5" WEIGHT: 137 lbs BLOOD: O ARMOR: Hardrock (Orange) WEAPON: Naginata VIRTUE: Gi (Justice) SUREKILL: "Iron Rock Crusher" Ancient The antithesis of Talpa, the Ancient had mastery of purity and creation. He was the only force able to stop the demon general's invasion four hundred years ago and formed the nine Ronin armors from Talpa's body. It was he who chose Ryo, Sage, Cye, Rowen, and Kento to become their hosts. The Ancient occasionally appeared to aid the Ronin Warriors early in their battle against the Dynasty. After waking the virtue in Anubis, the Ancient sacrificed his own life to open a gateway through which the Ronin could invade the Nether Realm. After his death, the Ancient transferred his legacy to Anubis, who would become the next Ancient. Whiteblaze Companion to Ryo of Wildfire, Whiteblaze has existed since Talpa's first invasion of Earth. It was then that the white tiger fought with the Ancient to defeat the demon king. It is unclear as to the nature of Whiteblaze's relationship with the Ancient and the Wildfire armor. When Ryo calls upon Inferno, the tiger also receives his own white armor, drawing upon the spirit of Blackblaze, the black tiger of the fallen demon Saber Styrke. When transformed, Whiteblaze carries the Inferno armor's Soul Swords of Fervor. Mia Koji The granddaughter and assistant of Professor Koji, an expert in the field of Japanese history and samurai warriors, Mia ventured out to find Ryo when he first appeared in the streets of Tokyo. She and a little boy, Yuli, soon became the last remaining people not taken by the Dynasty. When the five Ronin were scattered by Talpa, she used her grandfather's extensive computer records to locate each soldier. Her knowledge of ancient myths and folklore is vital to the completion of the journey. NAME: Mia Koji DESCRIPTION: Long Brown Hair BIRTHDAY: 28 May 1970 (Gemini) HEIGHT: 5'6" WEIGHT: She's not telling BLOOD: AB Yuli The typical annoying little six-year-old, Yuli loves the Ronin Warriors and is constantly trying to tag along with them into the Dynasty. He is crazy about Whiteblaze and gets just as worked up when the tiger gets hurt as when Ryo or the other Ronin do. Yuli lost his parents during the Dynasty's initial invasion and quickly became attached to Mia. Ryo slaps him. NAME: Yuli DESCRIPTION: Short Black Hair BIRTHDAY: 30 June 1979 (Cancer) BIRTHDAY: Tokyo HEIGHT: 3'10" WEIGHT: 55 lbs BLOOD: O Hariel Only present in the American version, Hariel was the fabled first Ronin Warrior. An ancient soldier, he originally wore the Inferno armor to guard the world from demons. Interestingly, though, Hariel -- himself -- was a demon. A reformed devil, Hariel protected Earth from his own kind. |
