Exhaustive Prince of Darkness data is now added; however, I had to take down 4 or 5 megs worth of pictures to fit it all. I've got images of more Prince of Darkness mecha, like the Ryoko Custom, but I don't have the space to store them. Also, I don't know what I'm doing about the store.

We're now up at homepage.mac.com/nadesicps. Should I change the name to "Karuikane" or "Yamato Nadesico"? I don't know. The links section should now be accurate. Other minor bits have been changed. Also, new pictures are up. We've got an expanded Gekiganger section, too. While there's no actual section, there's a great deal more data pulled from the OAV. Check out the episode guide.

Mostly done. I was going to call the new site "Karuikane". It's a gag that I really love. I named my first iBook "Karuikane" (actually, I was split between it and "Takatomon"). I also fought with myself over calling it "Yamato Nadesico". I guess, though, I'm keeping the original title. The unused "Karuikane" logo is posted under omake.

All the encyclopedia entries have been revised. So, the links and images now work. I'm not going to focus on the framed version, as I can't devote such a large portion of time to it with other projects also needing attention. Plus, I don't even know what AngelFire's ads would do to the design. But, the entries and images have all been corrected. I'll be adding more sections over the coming weeks along with (tentatively) Prince of Darkness and OAV data.

Why the long break? I transpositioned all my files to a new iBook for college. Of course, my iBook (currently named "Karuikane", "Takatomon", and "Kaiho") had a horrible problem with the HD. And, just now have I got it back. So, we've got a lot of new stuff. Like what? I dunno. Two DVD reviews. A hell of a lot of encyclopedia entries.

Did you know Nadesico wasn't based on a manga? Rather, Asamiya's manga came after the series. We've got a lot of new entries, all about the manga! If you've only seen the animation, you've only seen half the story! Also, DVDs 4 and 5 and VHS 10 just came. And, for the first time, the VHS isn't a limited edition. In other words, no chara sketch post card. Dammit, I've got cards 1-9. How can TRSI now send me a limited edition version, now? 9, 10, 11, and 12 form a huge cast photo. Sigh. Of course, I did realize that I have DVD player on my iBook. No, I knew I had one, but I just realized I can pull any single frame from any single episode to add to the site. Sweet. If only I had the post card that went with VHS 10.

Within the past week, I received the Prince of Darkness Film Books 1 and 2, Nadesico TV Book 3, Yurika Misumaru Real Model, Nadesico Manga Collection 2, and Nadesico VHS 9. VHS 10 and DVDs 4 and 5 are on their way. You'll note an update to the main page's design. This is primarily for the benefit of larger monitors. The main page looked horrible on anything larger than 800x600. Now, it's better. I may make the rest of the site look similar. I don't know. I'm having enough problems with my Sage Page refit. And, I'm starting my Ronin Reserve recoding on 7.1. Oh, we've got notes and entries on episode 19 and other changes and additions.

Anyway, it made fans out of everyone. But, I was crying over the tragedy that is Gai Daigoji. Everyone else was upset about the storyline. They wanted me to answer "why?". There's also a SLIGHT addition to episode two's write up. Did you know that when Gai explains the plot of Gekiganger, he's actually revealing the future plot of Nadesico? I didn't.

I spent the entire day playing with different layouts. After hours of work (and listening to the EVA OP looped), I sat back and admired Nadesico PS's new look. Then I accidentally loaded the current design into my browser. I looked at both versions of the site side-by-side, and I realized that the new style, covered in charts and windows, was just ugly. So, I dropped it. There are changed. If you look, you'll see that the text is formatted a bit differently. It no longer goes all across the screen. I manually added an invisible table to all 164 individual entries and 15 episode capsules. Also, the dictionary has nav bar at the top to quickly jump to different sections. I'm considering adding more categories, including good, locations, and Japanese terms. But, going back to the 15 episode capsules. Episode 15's is now up. It took long enough. Tomorrow I hope to have more entries and pictures.
