Reinard, Megumi

A seiyuu pulled away from her voice acting career to join the ND-001 as its Communications Officer. In the days following Gai's death, she and Akito become very close. She and Yurika spar for the affection of the pilot. She is the most willing of his would-be lovers to progress to more intimate levels. However, after it becomes apparent that Akito does not share feelings for her, Megumi completely stops any attempts to grow close with him, retaining only a professional relationship.

Megumi was named after famous seiyuu Megumi Hayashibara, and the chara is a tribute to her. Besides being a seiyuu, Reinard has also had experience as a nurse (as seen in "You're the Next Captain of the Nadesico") just like the real life Megumi.
