for people who see different colors when their mouse is hovering over a link, which should be just about everyone these days, there are two effects. one is to just change color to red. this means that it's an internal link. if it changed to white text on a grey background, that means you're pointing at a link to an external site. if you want to return to this site more easily, open that link in a new window or tab (mac: command-click the link, windows: control-click, linux/solaris/etc: middle-click)
if you're using netscape 4 or another browser that isn't fully style sheet compatible, i apologize for the appearance of the site. netscape 4 just does not have the same table and CSS formatting abilities of explorer or netscape 6 and up. the site should be usable but not necessarily pretty.
