The Engineer : A digest of technology and engineering news.

Google : This is a great, fast, and simple search engine. They also have searchable newsgroups database and now a computer-generated news page.

Human Genome Project Information : The Department of Energy has a web page describing the Human Genome Project, wherin all human genes will be sequenced, and then some.

Last.fm : A free internet radio site that helps you find new music by observing the habits of users who have similar taste to yours.

Litany : This page has the most up-to-date information one can find on Skinny Puppy and related bands. It is updated as often as news comes out, and has a lot of useful links.

MapQuest : This site allows you to find directions (with maps) from one address to another, or simply to get maps of cities worldwide. Similar sites are done by Google and Yahoo.

Marshmallow Peeps : This is a scientific study about exposing Marshmallow Peeps to extreme conditions. The results are intriguing, somewhat frightening, and highly amusing.

M.C. Hawking : Your jam master, Dr. Stephen Hawking, keeping it real.

My Yahoo! : This is the best miscellaneous portal page I have found. It lets you set up a personalized page with stock quotes, weather, news, calendars, movie and music listings, and more.

Metacritic : This site gathers ratings for film, music, and games all in one place. It is a great way to keep up on what a variety of critics think about the latest movie releases and new music.

New Scientist : New Scientist is a good science magazine for non-scientists, or scientists who want to read about things outside of their specialties. The web site has a lot of good information, and as the magazine is weekly, the web site is updated frequently.

The Onion : You can find all the latest fake news here. It basically just has a bunch of funny news stories, and it's not too ugly or anything like that so it gets to go on my good pages list.

Pandora : The creators of this site have determined qualities in music that can help to categorize it and help you find other music that you will like. Free internet radio based on stations that you want to listen to.

Science Daily : Is another of my favorite daily science new sites.

Slashdot : A page about computers and technology with extensive bulletin boards on every news item. It is geared towards Linux users, but there is also a lot of other technology and software news.
